AccuBuild Releases Direct Deposit Feature for its Construction Software Payroll Module

New Feature Gives Employees Immediate Access to Their Payroll Funds

ONTARIO, Calif., March 25, 2006: AccuBuild, LLC has released a Direct Deposit add-on feature for its AccuBuild® Construction Software Payroll module that allows employee paychecks to be electronically deposited into bank accounts, eliminating the need to deposit paper checks. This allows construction companies to offer a significant benefit to employees: the convenience of having immediate access to their payroll funds.

“Many of our larger, enterprise-level customers requested that Direct Deposit capability be added to AccuBuild,” said Mike Stearns, Sr., AccuBuild President. “We’re excited to deliver this feature as an integrated, easy-to-use addition to our Payroll system.”

For AccuBuild’s customers, setting up the Direct Deposit feature is straightforward thanks to step-by-step help files. The National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) files are pre-formatted to specifications. Processed NACHA files are automatically logged for easy access at a later date if needed. And a test option is available to verify an employee’s routing and bank account fields prior to a live funds transfer.

Employees that choose direct deposit of their paychecks into their bank account enjoy immediate funding on payroll day without a trip to the bank. This is especially helpful for field staff working on remote job sites that can’t get to the office to pick up their checks.
