ONTARIO, CA - January 10, 2006 - AccuBuild announced today the launch of an integrated Document Management module for its AccuBuild® Construction Software that provides electronic storage and sharing of a contractor’s paperwork and documentation.
The AccuBuild Document Management System (ADMS) reduces the administrative costs associated with filing, retrieving and re-filing documents. A simple computer search is all it takes to retrieve a document and make changes or annotations. Then, re-filing, printing, faxing or e-mailing that document is accomplished with a click of the mouse.
Using ADMS, contractors can scan paper documents to create digital files or store existing files – such as word processing documents, spreadsheets, PDF files and job site photos – within AccuBuild. Ease-of-use features such as batch scanning, drag-and-drop file attaching and various shortcut keys speed data entry and simplify use. User and group-based security provides complete control over who can access documents and make changes to files.
“Our customers can use ADMS in many ways to improve operational efficiencies,” said AccuBuild Founder and President Mike Stearns, Sr. “For example, ADMS eliminates misplaced invoices and streamlines the accounts payable approval process. It also decreases the need for large, paper-based job binders and cuts storage expenses relating to filing cabinets and document archiving.”
